Jerry Turner and Associates, Inc. (JTA) was founded in 1967 to provide Professional Services in the field of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Urban Design in accordance with standards set by the American Society of Landscape Architects and the American Institute of Certified Planners. Our challenge as Landscape Architects and Planners is to provide comprehensive professional services in the design and planning of the elements within the developing environment. A conscious understanding of natural systems, coupled with an understanding of the changing needs of the human community suggests the appropriate framework to provide maximum long range benefits for the client, community and physical environment.
Although services may vary widely with the type of projects, basic activities relate to the planning of land areas, the arrangement of structures and objects upon the land, the design of out-of-door places and spaces, and therefore the creation of more useful, safe and pleasant environment.
