JTA,
Inc. provided master planning, design development, and construction
drawings services for this 75-acre community park in Northwest
Raleigh. The master plan was developed with citizen participation
through an appointed Master Plan Committee.
JTA,
Inc. and the City Staff led the committee through the processes
of site analysis, identification of needs and program statements,
and final master planning of the proposed elements on the site.
Phasing and costs were also a part of the Master Plan. Lake Lynn
Park will ultimately provide the citizens of Raleigh a Community
Center, an aquatics center, a tennis center, ball fields, nature
trails including a loop trail around the 80-acre Lake Lynn, and
other active and passive recreation facilities.
