JTA was asked to design a large pool complex to augment existing
and new country club facilities at Prestonwood Country Club. The
design had to address the uses in the adjacent building which
included a full service restaurant, and exercise and shower facilities.
The 15,000 square foot pool deck also had to be accessible to
golfers using the adjacent driving range and golf course. The
final design included an eight-lane competition pool, and a 6,500
square foot "recreation" pool with a waterslide and
a near-zero depth area for small children and handicapped access.
Also included in this large complex is a tot pool with bubblers
and waterspray features.
