Mr. Hood attended
North Carolina State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Conservation in 1972 and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Landscape
Architecture in 1975. He joined Jerry Turner and
Associates, Inc. in 1976.

Mr. Hood, a Yadkin
County native, served as President of the North Carolina Chapter of
the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1988.
Project
Commitment
As a principal with Jerry Turner & Associates, Inc., William leads many of the firms more complex projects. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of land planning and landscape architecture including the design of new communities, mixed use projects, commercial and office developments, and parks and public spaces.
In addition to his design abilities, his training and experience in the natural sciences provides a valuable resource to the firm.
William also serves on the Design Review Committee of the City of Raleigh Appearance Commission.
